The Government of Kerala health insurance scheme covering serving state government employees, pensioners and their dependent family members for hospitalisation expenses. Carry your MEDISEP card and government ID.
How to Avail Cashless Treatment
- Inform the Insurance Desk — visit our insurance help desk with your policy or scheme card so we can verify empanelment and coverage.
- Submit Documents — insurance / TPA card, valid photo ID and the doctor's admission advice. We complete the pre-authorisation form with the treating consultant.
- Pre-Authorisation Approval — we send the request to your insurer or TPA and follow it up until approval is received.
- Cashless Discharge — the approved amount is settled directly with the insurer. You pay only the non-covered or excess portion, if any.
Documents to Carry
- Insurance / TPA card (original or copy)
- Government photo ID — Aadhaar, Voter ID or Driving Licence
- Policy copy with the current year's validity
- Doctor's admission advice and previous prescriptions
- Past medical records and investigation reports, if any
- For MEDISEP — scheme card and government employee or pensioner ID
